MONEY ADVISER NETWORK – here you will find free, confidential and independent debt advice. This service can direct you to a debt advisor straight away via the telephone or you can get support online.

BUSINESS DEBTLINE – this charity provides free debt advice for self-employed people for their personal and business debts. They can also offer help with effective business budgeting, cash-flow management, increasing income and dealing with business-specific debts and creditors.

If you are struggling to pay your bills, it is important you talk to your provider as soon as possible.  If you need help with this, Central Bedfordshire Council helps to fund advise organisations like Advice Central, Disability Resource Centre and Citizens Advice who can support you.  There is a local Citizens Advice organisation which provides impartial financial management advice, debt advice and help to make sure residents apply for the different benefits they might be eligible for.
