Party On Potton all started as a new year millennium celebration back in 1999/2000 and is now an August bank holiday weekend event put on every two years for the local community in a large marquee on the Henry Smith playing field. The day time events are free and the evening events ticketed. There is something for everyone. The committee, all local volunteers, spend the two year run up to the main event (known as The Big Weekend) fund-raising by putting on events for the community and using their free mobile bar hire service in order to make the event happen. Any profit left over is put towards the next Big Weekend to fund the free daytime events and infrastructure, and also given back to the community. It’s all about Potton and Partying!
